ARLEN (HE/HIM)
The owner of Brindley Hair Studio, Arlen Jeremy Farmer (he/him), originally from Michigan, is a licensed cosmetologist whose clientele has consisted of many Top 40 and indie musicians. His work has been featured in People, PAPER, Flaunt, ESQUIRE, Vanity Fair, and Nylon, among other publications. Arlen has advanced training with Redken, L’Oréal, and American Crew. He has also worked as an educator for brands such as Amika, Phyto, and Nioxin. Currently, Arlen is a cosmetology instructor for Paul Mitchell Schools.Over the past 13 years, Arlen has become the go-to stylist for many because of his sense of style, relaxed personality, and hyper-attention to detail.

Em (they/them) is originally from the Seattle area, before landing in LA 6 years ago. An artist at heart, and self taught painter, they are inspired by punk and creative editorial looks. With a keen eye for detail and engaging conversation, Em is passionate about providing a safe space for everyone to express their authentic selves. Hi! I’m Hope(they/them) the barber. I have spent the last 6 years dedicating myself to the art of barbering. I specialize in all short haircuts from fades and tapers to textured creative haircuts and anything in between. anything you would expect at a classic barbershop provided in a safe queer-friendly space.

Hey hi hello! My name is Dre (they/she) and I have been a Barber for 10+ years. I started in a modern shave parlor, catering to the business men of Hoboken, NJ. Then migrated over to Brooklyn to find my true passion of working in a creative/queer focused space. Finally, heading to my dream land of Southern California to explore new avenues of my career with an expanding company.
With experience in both NYC and LA, I have been exposed to countless types of energies in my chair which has strengthened my intuitive cutting skills to what they are now. I specialize in fades, buzz designs, scissor texture techniques, creative cutting, and beard work. Taking in all aspects of a client while sculpting their look (head shape, desired maintenance, desire to stand out, etc.).
I would consider myself a hair healer in every sense of the word. You are safe in my chair and in good hands.
